My large Dutch Iris is in bloom. It is gold but it is stunning. The color is very rich and the frills on each flower look like velvet. It may bloom again in August. The Siberian Irises may open this week as well. I've been waiting all week for the Salmon poppies to open. Today, I cut red rose buds and large purple Clematis. I put these flowers in vase with white long-stem roses. I want salmon poppies for the arrangement as well. Maybe tomorrow.......
