Funny. I have just finished watching Charlie Rose show. His guest were Andy Grove of Intel and John Chambers of Cisco. When Charlie asked Andy if the PC is dead? Andy -who always gave a very exploratory answers- responded that the PC will not be as central as it was 2 years ago and that it will be just a part of what he called "The Cloud" of which Cisco is involved. He also stated that devices such as a Palm Pilot will become more essential but will remain reliant on the PC hence, it will still be a part of but not as central to the future of technology.

And it was interesting what John Chambers said about the internet growth being at 60% a quarter now. The explosion is happening much faster and sooner than anyone realizes! He inference this from "actual orders" of Cisco not just "visionary" statement (his words).

What is really bothersome is how these analyst's have the power to dictate any sector's slowness or growth at there whim no matter how far-fetched? I mean if Cisco is experiencing that type of growth Dell cannot be too far behind?
