A possible scenario could be to sit down and restructure around the best prospects. The design group for viper probably doesn't need mfg. support. Products on the market that aren't working may be discontinued or cut back.... etc. They might decide to fund those things that look good and try to extract themselves from other things that look bleak.. Scott, You seem to have a good view of this, is the debt load so high that they can't extract themselves, or can they strip down to just those things that look promising.. A side note.. There was a site mentioned in Motley Fool concerning a guy who has been testing Intel and AMD systems. It appears that AMD has broken through with K6 against Intel. Intel apparently objected to the exposure this guy was causing so he moved his site to Germany to as a defence. The scenario seems to similar. To gain a place in the market, RTEC has to offer something of value and it should be viper, which is going to take time. What is SUN going to do in the meanwhile??
