However, think of what SEC could have done. They could have pulled GE off the exchanges indefinitely ( sp?) But, the fact of the matter is that the SEC did not have any ammo to can them.
Miles they rarely can the company, read the following court decision, hopefully that will straiten your thinking out re possible fraud
Sure current and previous presidents have been charged.
They may end up with lifetime trading bans, not yet decided, jail NO WAY.

Also notice that the company is never part of the judgement. Company's never are part of a stock fraud judgement. They can not commit fraud. Only the people who are officers can commit fraud.
