I agree w/ you about Linux. It's amazing how it's gaining critical mass. It will be very interesting to watch over the next two years. Besides Redhat, how else can we make money with this development (long or short)? Somehow I don't feel comfortable shorting MSFT just yet; especially I am still long currently. I wonder if Linux will be good or bad for SUNW in 1999 and 2000? Is Sun currently shipping w/ Linux installed? If so, when did that start? IBM just started that very recently right? How about Oracle, have they shipped the Linux version yet?

Do most big web sites (such as Yahoo) run Linux or BSD or Solaris or something else (or all of them)? What does Inktomi run on? I know they use Sun's, but I wonder what OS they run on the Sun's. (if anyone knows, please feel free to jump right in)

What is DUN?
