That is very prudent of you to be 50% in cash and bonds. I wish I were so fortunate. The timing of the onset of the big correction is not clear, nor is the duration. My sense is that timing of major swings is not easily done and the overall best long term policy is to stay pretty fully invested. This may not be prudent with the Internet stocks however. With these Internet stocks, additional care must be taken. We really do not have a history or a track record to rely upon. I have only a very small position in the Internet stocks, but I have been trying to lighten up on the computer stocks, perhaps too slowly.
