Per Bloomberg this morning: - Regarding inflation: Hong Kong economy slowed a larger than expected 3.5% in first Q of '99; Copper prices tumbled to two month low as fears of a slowing economy/consumer demand appear to be resurfacing --- this doesn't help the inflation argument. - Regarding the Fed: There are new reports this morning renewing fears about a rate hike that suggest the Fed may seek to raise rates by .25% as early as today. Again, this text is exactly as it has been reported by Bloomberg News this am. I am not making this information up for selfish reasons. Teflon
