I guess they must already have been very short to begin with...perhaps the Boeing deal came as a surprise to them. They may not have expected a small Canadian company to land the biggest contract of it's type in history.

A smart short would have let it run up first and then shorted it. A desperate short would do what these guys did.

With all the American buying that's going to come into the stock today, I feel sorry for this guy.

There was no official short position on DRL when I checked yesterday so they must be unreported shorts as many shorts in Canada are.

With all the huge insider buying that we found in DRL all throughout 1998...this morning should prove very interesting.
