OT....do you have an opinion on this one?

There is a joke running around...

"Have you heard that CFI is buying Meca and Ultradata?" The joke is.. "It's true!"

CFI has a unblemished track record of acquiring company's with fading technology for a premium price and excerbating the losses. CFI purchased their front-end and bill pay solution from a company called ISC. No, not Intuit Service Corp but Interactive Solutions Corp, which is the same ISC that CheckFree bought right after the IPO.

Ted Spooner was the owner and went to work for CKFR as head of their Internet division, he was the one that concieved Genesis. 18 months later, Ted ask Pete K if he could "please" buy his company back... Corillian Corporation was born.

CFI has a product that is 4 years out of date and MECA and Ultradata will not catch them up one bit, frankly I'm glad to see it happen, it gathers the clutter into one place and makes it easier for the rest of us.
