Food for discussion. What will Y2K do to the Micro cap market?
Y2K has been hyped almost as much as some of these micros. Will there be a problem? Probably, but to what extent? IMO it doesn't matter in the short term. I think that whether we have a real problem or merely a perceived problem, people are nervous about the overvaluation of the market and will start to withdraw their funds in mass when things start going south. I can see a major correction, maybe more coming for the entire market and am soliciting opinions/comments on what you think will happen to the micros. Obviously if they are heavily linked to companies that are extremely vulnerable to Y2K, they will also fall. But what about the stand alones? Will the overall downturn take them too? When is it time to bail?
