Butch, Why would Sun dump their stock? They have nothing to gain but a tax loss. Though I would'nt expect them to buy any. it is my understanding that the ultra 3 will not be ready for at least a year in the meantime I would expect them to crank up the clock speeds on the ultra 1 and ultra 2. This may help Ross If sun decides to use the 200 mhz hypersparc in it's ss 20( which they still sell plenty) I understood that Sun did'nt use the 200mhz C-4 chip because the performance was to close to the ultra 1. If they use a higher clockspeed in the ultra 1 they may use the ross chip for the ss-20. I also expect them to use joint ventures to support R&D, it's the only way they can keep it going. The next 6 months could be the whole ball of wax for this deal.
