Humbly report, CL, more on the story, got this from someone who wants to remain anonymous:
	I called Andrew Abolafia ((518) 632 - 9193; inventor1-y2k.com, and
asked him if he were aware his PR was deleted. He said he was and that the reason
was because of the last line where he said the device was approved by the IEEE. He
said the device was not and that he had thought it was implicitly endorsed by them
since the IEEE accepted his ad for the device. I asked if he had actually applied for
IEEE certification for real and he said he didn't think they really do actual
endorsements. From my experience, this is not true, or, rather, they "approve"
rather than "endorse" if it meets their specs. Andrew said he reissued the PR
yesterday through Business Wire but isn't sure if it has been released.

And here is the revised press release:

biz.yahoo.com

Edit: Just got this from the same source:
One more quick thing. I called back Andrew. It was the IEEE who called and read him
the riot act and it was *Andrew* who requested that BW pull the release and
replace it.

Cheers,

Svejk
