Here is the latest article I posted in AMAT thread. To summarize, there are those who think that the ASPs of electronics is always falling and that companies can continue to flourish under such conditions. This is a fallacy on both counts. The price per unit has been falling only recently and for a good part of the 80s it was actually rising. For a full discussion, you have to go back 10~20 posts. Message 9822037
