A really good synopsis of the current situation. One company to keep an
eye on is Northern Telecom (NT) in ISDN. A much more conservative play
than Gandalf (GANDF). For pure return, I would favour GANDF however.
NT provides ATM, ISDN, networks, switching products etc.
NT signed a deal with NYNEX for ISDN and Software products-valued at
$150 mill. over 5 yrs. There are more coming. ISDN is gearing up rapidly.
NT just signed a $50 mill deal with Circo Craft in Canada to supply
a broad range of advanced printed circuit structures for 1996.
Are they used in ISDN products?
ADSL will be a ways away. Any comments on Westell?
