John, thanks for clarifying that for me. Regarding your quiz about the 4Q 96, I concur with what everyone else already said. Wasn't that also the time when the pending California legislation prevented Intel from projecting the quarter's performance? My memory is fuzzy, but I seem to recall that when the legislation failed (thank goodness for us all), Intel immediately released their projections for the 4Q 96, which provided the springboard for the move that ran until the end of the summer in 97.
