Production chips by year end - that's a year later than expectations set in early '98. By the time the Sun machines using this technology are on the market, I would expect CPQ to have big SMP machines in the market which are faster than the proposed SPARC III systems. It will be interesting to see if Sun can continue to sell the sizzle...
