Say a stock goes from $2.00 to $30.00 and back down to $8.00. You buy at $8.00 and several weeks later it trades lower to $6.00 and then trading is suspended. How much can one expect to get in a class action suit if they only have 100 shares of a stock $2.00 below their purchase price. Also how and why do stocks stop trading on the exchange?
