Mother Tereza Humanitarian Organization is the only organization here that is not in some way a scam. All the others I've seen have big staffs, multiple cell phones, lots of office space, new cars, men in good suits, etc., etc., etc. It's awful.
Mother Tereza has no paid staff, one cell phone, no cars, one small office and yet they are feeding around 20,000 people every week out of a run down warehouse. refugees come to the warehouse once a week and leave with barely enough food to feed their family for one week.
Mother Tereza focuses on the refugees not in the camps. There are about 250,000 refugees in Macedonia who are not in camps. They live in the homes of ethnic Albanian Macedonians. Mainstream Macedonians do not help the refugees at all unless paid. Nobody at Mother Tereza is paid and almost all of them are housing refugees themselves.
Avdula, the Director of Mother Tereza, just told me that the food will run out this weekend. It's getting harder to raise money the longer this war goes on. These people need help. Now. Please help them.

Tony, it's true. in two days the food on hand is gone. an independent newspaper here just slammed tv era today. said the tv station was propagandizing for a 'greater albania'. it hurts and it's total bullshit. the journalist sandbagged avdula. Nothing i said above is in any way exaggerated. situation is dire. peace, Dusty
