I read a plug in a February edition of Forbes (near the back of the magazine) from a mutual fund manager (I did not write down his name). He was buying Novell at the $10.50 dollar mark. This was fund manager was value oriented. Though this article was prior to the latest earnings disappointment. I read the latest March 7, 1997 write-up in Value Line. Value Line has Novell earning .70 for 1997 with cahflows of .90 for 1997. The write-up expressed concern from stiff competition from Microsoft at the low end of their product market.

Perhaps Novell shareholders would have more success petitioning Microsoft's BOD of director and officers to resign under the threat of a stepped-up investigation from FTC concerning anti-competitive marketing practices.

Just a sick Joke there!

I did like the post about the guy that sued Novell to have the BOD ousted. That guy should post on this thread.
