All - I just bought rfmd at 40 a few days ago, for long term,
been watching it since SmartMoney article a few months ago
(on next great tech stocks).
Here is a good analysts report issued yesterday by Montgomery,
they raised estimated earnings - as posted on the Yahoo 'rfmd' board,
which is quite active compared to this one!
key parts:
"Recent discussions with management, as well as our own checks,
indicate strong demand for the September quarter, driven by growth
at Nokia and Korean customers.
We expect shipments to Motorola as early as next month. Motorola
shipments should contribute some revenue in September, with a
significant ramp up in December and throughout next year.
Additionally, we continue to believe the company will ship
products to Ericsson in 2000.

With the addition of Motorola, RF Micro will have 'slots' at
the top-two global handset producers, with number three, Ericsson,
close behind. We continue to view RF Micro Devices as the premier
power-amplifier supplier and an excellent play on the rapid growth
in wireless handsets."
