BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 28, 1999--International Internet Inc.(OTC BB:ININ) International Internet announced today that it has launched its first online cigar auction site, stogiesauction.com. The joint venture between International Internet and AuctionAnything.com, Inc. (OTC BB:UBUY), is located at stogiesauction.com.
The site offers users both company-to-person as well as person-to-person trading platforms. The site allows Stogiesonline.com, as well as independent sellers, a vehicle for listing items for
bid. Users can browse for items arranged by topic and bid through an automated easy-to-use online service. Additionally, the site offers Stogiesonline.com members the ability to bid on popular cigars, rare cigars and other hard-to-find cigar- related items. Other site features include a classified section and a notify section where buyers will be e-mailed when items they are seeking become available for bid. Unlike most auction sites, which may be difficult to use, Stogiesauction.com was designed to be user friendly.
Stogiesauction.com will be in competition with other online Internet auction sites that auction cigar products such as eBay (Nasdaq:EBAY), Excite auctions (Nasdaq:XCIT), Yahoo auctions (Nasdaq:YHOO) and Amazon auctions (Nasdaq:AMZN).
