That's my read from news you posted, but that's only one piece. Slight disappointment: those who got in recently will not get a huge premium. But the downside collar implies that companies believe the street will view the merger positively, and the move in WCOM end of day looks good.

FWIW, Tim is right, take the WCOM shares. Immediate premiums are nice, but if the deal makes sense.... I'm going to be patient here.
Sum is greater than the pieces, and WCOM gets much needed cash flow.
After some digestion time, WCOM should surge (IMO). They've now got
a wireless internet link....
