Jack, <<Class III license--any experience with that>> I don't know what that is, assume it's a concealed carry? New York state pistol licenses are concealed carry. They however can be restricted to target shooting and/or hunting if the issuing county places such a restriction. Then a person carrying would have a problem explaining why they were carrying downtown at 2AM. My county places no restrictions on their permits. My new toy is incredibly accurate at 7 yd., all group within 1/2-3/4" and print dead on, one of the most accurate pistols I own. Not bad for a 2" snub. The gun came with a certificate of accuracy for grouping at different ranges, seems the certificate is something that MA requires for guns with barrels less than 3". Maybe that's a ploy to exclude Saturday night specials from MA sales. Recoil with P+ ammo is smart, no, intense with a sharp muzzle flip. Even with the recoil the gun is still very manageable. I highly recommend the S&W airweights.
