Nam Tai Electronics (NTAI) Audio component supplier Albatronics (Far East) Co Ltd said on Friday it might be liquidated if banks and a trade creditor did not accept a new debt restructuring plan proposed by NAM TAI ELECTRONICS. It said it had a negligible net available cash balance as at May 25. Albatronics said it had received a new proposal from Nam Tai on May 27 and Nam Tai had indicated that if the banks and the major trade creditor did not accept the proposal by June 15, there would be no practical purpose in any further debt restructuring negotiations and the new proposal would expire.
