intc still holds up because funds and people like you and me.

but look at the valuation : prudential gave amd 5.25 1998 x 17 = 90 price target

do same calc for intc : 9.5 x 17 = 161.5 by year end.

amd does have product that is superior - fact - how many oem would use it - dont know - but they will announce those (most likely european's) on K6 launch apr 2 (or 6 - i am nor sure)

you cant compare nsm & mu w/intc - they have their own money all the time - these two are great trading stocks for traders.

you have plenty of chances to buy intc at 140 if you want. back to close at 141 now. a gtc order would get you in 140.

the question is intc is fully valued now - how much upside you expect from it - would it be better to put your money on some other stock ?
