the more i think about it, i have alot more faith in Wit's own ipo....they are being mentioned alot more within the press, hence they are very close to having widespread name recognition.....their 1 yr. revenue growth was up 730% for 1998, a pre-requisite for all decent inet ipo's......they are the worlds first internet based investment bank therefore they do have a "niche" already....they are developing their own web-based stock exchange ala Dateks Island ECN and Reuters Instinet, which should increase profits when they finally get their crappy execution prob's solved and more people actually trade with them rather than just clicking away and crashing their servers.....lastly, 75% of their revenues comes from the investment banking part of their operation and 15% from the brokergae side, which is good cause the brokerage side is their weakness....all in all, i want some shares!....hopefully since they are one of the underwriters, they will get millions of shares like they did for BNBN and we will all get shares....if i recall, there were a myriad of people bashing this ipo a few days ago when morale was low and stated they have cancelled their IOI's....bet they regret it now....lol.
