If you are buying/selling, in any quantity, the level II will pay for itself in reading your entry or exit prices. I tend to position trade much more than I do minute or day trade, and find the Level II very helpful. Some folks make pretty good money day trading, but the majority do not. I will from time to time make that trade if the price is higher or lower than it should be.
Everyone has to judge their own performance though.
