Richard, A Class III license is a legal right to own a machine gun. In todays environment, I would bet that you would be "thoroughly examined by BATF". I would pass, but I am not certain that I want the hassle. I understand that you are opened to great scrutiny. Jack! P.S. --I certainly know how easy they are to come by, but I would not be willing to take that risk.
