Steve,
I'm a little uncomfortable coming on the MB Trading thread, but since there are questions I'll respond. Mindful of the code not to promote a product or service, I will try to be as cut and dried as possible.
CyBer does in fact have a DIRECT link to ARCA. This involved our development team writing technology from our server to that of ARCA, a bridge if you will. Our press release from earlier this week, which can be found in our press center, explains a little more fully what was involved.
I know you mentioned earlier that you were with CyBer some six months ago. Since then, Cyber developed its own price server (again there is a January press release in the press center, and introduced an updated version of the software 1.7 (in December). There certainly were growing pains after the price server was installed. The Cyber thread bares that out. You will note problems during the first quarter. Then, interestingly enough, beginning about two and half months ago up until now, you will not very, very few, if any complaints. The thread, in many ways, speaks for itself. I would challenge anyone who questions this to review the thread. To gain context, compare it to the level of complaints at other brokers.
In my line of work, reaching out to the media, MB trader or any other RealTick system is not the enemy. Browser-based systems are because they frustrate so many new online investors with their sluggish executions and delayed data feeds. These investors don't know any better.
Thank you for the honor with which you raise these questions. Such decorum is nearly unheardof these days on the threads.
