Jay, I'm all for trying to keep this site going. I have been an active short term trader of stocks for about 14 years now. Tried a stab a options on the OEX and the time decay killed my positions even though the positions would move in the direction I called (time decay) will get you everytime.

Well for the past two weeks now I have been taking a stab at the S&P 500 (1) contract for 4+ point moves. I usually don't like to hold overnight positions with the big contract so I will close it out and maybe put on some mini's for an overnight, if I fell pretty confident. I think it more like a fear of waking up the next day and being down $5,000.00 or so that I put on the mini's.

I base my trading decisions on Technical Analysis.

How do you base your trading decisions?

I hope more people will join us in sharing ideas on trading the
S&P500!
