ST, you're right. Kensey's reasons to buy AMAT are not convincing.
Usually he goes just by TA, but this time he philosophizes a bit.

I've been hazy on what it means to 'position trade'. If I bought
AMAT near it's low [knowing about the cyclic behavior of price]
and attempted to sell near the top of the cycle, would I be a
position trader? Bottom to top took about a year last time and
so did top to bottom.

I don't have a similarly useful guide for other sectors.
