For SEPR, you look at who is making sense and who is not. Has anybody countered Jim or Peter effectively? No? Well, then, guess what? Herb is gonna lose his money.
It's sort of like the editorials for Barron's..... one doesn't need be correct, just loud.
If you can't make money investing, start a web-based investment rag, throw in some journalism of questionable value, and go public.
I've said this before..... you put Karen Bernstein, Cynthia Robbins-Roth, Mark Edwards, Jim Silverman, Peter Suzman, Vector1 and a few others in a room with catering for a couple of days, and make plans for retirement. It just isn't all that difficult if you know where the good scientists and managers are. How the Murphys and von Emsters of the world can screw up so badly is beyond me. |
