MIAMI, May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Bridgeport Communications, Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: BPOT) announced today that it has entered into a Letter
Of Intent to acquire 100% of the issued and outstanding shares of
WealthHound.com, Inc. Pursuant to the term of the Letter of Intent, the
parties are to have executed a definitive stock purchase agreement by
June 30, 1999.
WealthHound.com is to be the ultimate Web-site to personal finance and
prosperity. The current Web-site allows users access to their proprietary
search technology to locate information on companies, financial products,
services and market data. Their research center provides consolidated access
to some of the best information resources online. Future product will include
stock quotes, charts, news, discussion on stocks, funds, and indices similar
to Silicon Investor and CMGI Inc.'s "Raging Bull."
However, what will differentiate WealthHound.com from Yahoo, Microsoft
Investor and The Street.com is working on partnerships that will allow
ventures in online trading, banking, home mortgages, and life insurance.
These are similar services that are offered by E-Trade Group, Inc., Telebank
Financial, and Netbank.
