PageStar's unique system allows consumers to call the StarTrak system from anywhere in the world. Once access is made via your password, your vehicle can be controlled in many ways. The consumer can simulate the car running out of gas and coming to a complete stop, forcing a thief to abandon your vehicle. The consumer may also lock and unlock the doors, disable their car before going to sleep as well as a number of other options.
Another unique characteristic of StarTrak is, the owner is notified by pager or telephone as soon as their vehicle has been stolen. The PageStar Control Center is also notified and with one simple call from the owner, the vehicle can be stopped and safely recovered. The PageStar Control Center will notify local police and provide the location of the stolen vehicle. Unlike other systems, there is no geographical limit for recovery. The vehicle can be located and recovered anywhere in the United States through the use of satellite and paging technologies.
