Your question is the age-old question, "which stock to buy?" As
for Pru, I think they are nuts for a 90 stock price target for AMD.
AMD "may" have a better product but they don't have the resources
to make enough of them and to keep up with future technology. By 1998
the K6 will be obsolete. They don't have a big enough r & d budget to keep
up with intc.

so, in conclusion, i dn't knock amd. but, at 46 on amd and 140 on intc, i'd rather
own intc. since ia lready do, i don't think i will be buying more.
the markets are making me very skittish these days. I sold covered calls against my INTCW
(INQCKs) quite a while ago and got 2 1/2 for them. Now, that didn't cover the
entire downside, but i had sold covered jan calls and got 3 or 4 (i think) and i will do the same
for apr but only on a pretty big upside bounce for intc. the premium for apr calls
is too low to make them worth selling.
