Are King Alfred irises Dutch irises? What color is it? I don't have very good luck with Dutch irises. I planted three bulbs & only 1 survived. The one I have now is suppose to re-bloom in August. It is so huge though that it should be separated. Do you know when you separate the bulbs? Is it in winter or spring or fall?

The Siberian should bloom next week. I planted those last year. I planted bulbs this spring but it has been so cold and wet that they have struggled. The weather turns warmer so it maybe they will settle in.

Next fall and spring, I want to do bulbs. This spring I didn't have time.
