There is nothing but wishful thinking behind that rumor. It is like a vampire who won't stay dead. CPU is a dog which would be dilutive to SPLS. SPLS has already deemphasized hardware sales for consumables used in computers. There is no reason to go backwards and saddle themselves with CPU.

Most SPLS owners would sell SPLS if there was even a rumor this was true.
