Here's a strange but true one for users of the Shotgun dual modem. I did a modem flash upgrade of their new firmware (dated 11/98) late in April. The Voice Priority feature (2nd line drops when hearing the call waiting signal) stopped working immediately. After two visits by US West and 5 toll calls to Diamond MM tech support in Oregon, their supervisor finally admitted they've just discovered that their latest upgrade wiped out this key feature and they don't have a solution yet. It took them almost 6 months to accept the bug in their product. The firmware's big feature was that it made line 2 connects more stable. But they made it SO stable that call waiting can't terminate it. BTW the flashing means you can't reinstall an earlier version of anything. Alan
