Alex,
The prediction was wrong.
At this juncture, I don't believe RSYS would have moved up if the market was UP 160 points instead of down.
The TA does sometimes make very timely calls, however, with more thinly traded stocks, a buy or tempory base, or trend change signal can be wrong.
However, I NEVER, even given a buy/trend reversal signal, would short term trade in a stock which I would not want to hold long. I.E., HLIT and PAIR both seem to fluctuate wildly and each appear to be oversold. Unless of course the entire market comntinues to tank. Moreover, I have no qualms regarding being a long term holder in either. I usually don't have to be b/c they peak and begin the next descent. (Please note, many, many times after I buy a stock it plumments and then recovers only to plumment again - and some of course don't ever recover. But I have been fortunate with HLIT and PAIR as of late.)
Good trading
