I, for one, would be very interested in hearing more about this either as *OT comment here or via PM or please cite links on other threads where you may posted comments. I've been trying to hedge and "diversify" all along the broadband spectrum as well, from chips, suppliers, networks, access, etc.
Glad to hear of your read on the free ISP competition issue. I, too, have dual ISP's: AOL and Earthlink.
