Hi Ed:
Back to buying and selling multiple times a day. I did not mean that I was trying to work the bid - ask spread. What I meant was if a stock moves up and down many times a day... lets say a stock consistently moves from $5.00 to $5.50 six times a day... and if you identified this and bought at $5.00 and sold at $5.50 as many times as you could, realizing a 10% gain every time, could this be done???

I was all set to do that last week for fun. It took Waterhouse 4 hours to buy 1,000 shares for me. At that rate it for sure will not work.

So I guess my question is can this be done with a certain Broker??

Thanks for the reply.
