Maybe ARCA has cleaned up its act recently since Goldman and E*Trade have gotten on board. I still disagree with you that ARCA is something to be pushing on new traders and is "great". The fact remains is that there is some significant "history" regarding ARCA and its execution capabilities in the past. Just because Borsellino settled his lawsuit and had a confidentiality agreement signed with Putnam and Townsend, does not cause the games that were played during and (also after) when Chicago Trading and Arbitrage and Archipelago were running simultaneously to magically go away. You apparently have had a lot of experience at your 10 different trading firms in 5 years (instead of 2 years). What were your thoughts of Redi-Plus from Spear Leeds? Spear Leeds is the largest specialist firm on the NYSE and AMEX, and clear the most local floor traders here in Chicago, through its First Options division. I know some floor traders at the Chicago Board Options Exchange and Chicago Board of Trade who only trade a portion of the day on the floor, and trade upstairs using Redi during the balance.
