Hal, Another find, Cuban explains what he means by "DISTRIBUTION". ipmulticast.com In other words he has a lot of servers with limited storage space and I suppose a lot of clutter and cables. Ampex could streamline the archived lesser used files shared by all servers with the DST. Micronet can supply raids for the more used and latest used files. But what about all of those servers? Could Micronet or Ampex develop a server device along the same principle of the RAID? That is one box full of PC (not politically correct) cards and ethernet cards. They could be set up to transfer service if they have problems (less site down time). Maybe Ampex is working on this?
