Scanshift, I haven't tried Redi-Plus/Spear-Leeds yet... thought I'd hold one back, in case Terranova ever blows up! ;) Things are working out OK where I'm at, happy to not have to move brokerages for a while. Sounds like it's worth knowing more about over time. I really wouldn't recommend ARCA, or really ANY direct-access trading mode for ANY new traders... better off to web-trade first, and learn the hard trading rules that way! Setting in front of an L2 screen with direct, instant fills as a beginner, is an invitation to disaster, as the predominant % of new day-traders find out. I do think ARCA is a great tool for an experienced stock trader, even then it has to be used judiciously and it takes a while to figure out. -Steve
