First sentence is true. Second sentence is false. If you had the question, it is by definition not a stupid question. Smart people learn by asking more questions because they're smart enough to know that that's the way to learn what they don't know. Stupid people don't learn because they don't ask questions because they don't want to look stupid, which just makes them more stupid.

Of course, all this assumes that FIRST you read the manual! <vbg>
