The number of posts for a thread also depends on the underlying volatility of the stock. PCLN was once ranked the #1 hot topic on SI, and that happened when it jumped up 20 or 30 pts a day. Over the past two weeks, PCLN has been relatively stable, except of course, some final minute panic sell-off. I think that may be one reason why PCLN thread hasn't seen as many posts recently. ETYS certainly creates some big splash these days. Once the 30 day restriction is lifted, maybe some of our short friends will jump over there too:)
