Jon,
I appreciate your interest in willing to discuss this up here. As I stated in my email to you, we do no such thing. Heck, most people will tell you we try not going after such business or random promotions. We're one of the few firms that actively turn away accounts. We have a nice newsletter that goes out to about 5000 subscribed users.
Quite simply, we do not harvest web addresses. We dont buy email names. We dont want anyone to receive our newsletter that hasn't specifically asked for it. As far as your situation is concerned, I can not tell you how you ever ended up on our list. We don't do any importing or other "harvesting" of sites, so it most likely was someone who could have added you without your knowledge.
Quite simply, I also suggested in my response that you could have resolved this so simply by emailing me. People email me all the time with questions, problems, issues; people take the time to ask me to post questions up here all the time. I take great pride in our willingness to sinerely answer most peoples questions.
Yet, its amazing how quickly you might jump to the worst conclusion. You would be the only person on our list that had such a problem that I have heard of. Could it have been someone you know who thought you might find it useful? Could it have been someone in your company that wanted it? Could it have been someone who knows your propensity to flame something like this without giving the other party a chance to resolve the problem.
One could have simply taken 2 seconds to point out that there name somehow ended up erroneously on our mailing list. You were and would have been removed immediately.
Rather, someone and I am not sure if it was you, sends me an email today that would disgust my mother, with tons of profanity, then goes to the extent of post your email up here.
Business and relationships are a two way street. I hope you never find yourself receiving such a vulgar email for something you did not intend to occur nor did anything to precipitate.
Regards, Steve |
