Frank,

Hope you've had a chance to cool off by now. My original statement stands. The idea of starting a class action suit against DELL for misleading investors is absurd. Name me one instance where DELL management has misled investors about the company's prospects or growth, and document it.

However, some of the more euphoric optimists and dreamers on this thread do so regularly. It is perhaps understandable, considering DELL's historical growth and earnings. When we are positive about something (this stock) we love to hear other people tell us how good it is... even if their statements are pure speculation, dreams, manipulation, or what have you. .... and we are reluctant to listen to negatives, regardless of source or how well documented. If you wish to be more successful in the market, it might be useful to learn to listen to both the treble and the bass clef music.

Your post also contained some gratuitous personal slurs (yes, I realize I did start it) ....

1. Just be sure that I do not see your name or any class action suits against Dell in the future ok Big Shot??
Not a chance. IMO, DELL is probably the best run company in corporate America. And it would be extremely illogical of me to sue a company in which I still hold a long-term interest, as that would detract from the company's focus, would drain earnings for court costs, etc. And I am not a 'Big Shot'. You probably own many times as much DELL as I do.

2. Now put that in your funny cigarette and smoke it.
I don't smoke at all: no nicotine, no cannabis, no corn silk, nada.

3. Why are you hiding behind some ficititious name??
I don't hide behind anything. Those are my initials: John Bachman Nabors, III => jbn3. As you would know if you had visited the Annual Meeting thread.

It looks to me like you are buying stocks expecting a 'sure thing': like a child receiving an allowance or an adult receiving welfare payments. Ain't no such animal in the stock market, especially in technology.

Some folks have been hoping that DELL would be recognized as an internut play and receive a corresponding valuation.... if that ever happens, then the volatility we've just seen is mild to what you can expect. Hope it never happens, personally.

JFWIW... DELLish, 3.
