Not true. Unless you have

a) an Instinet terminal on your desk at home or in your office,
b) direct access to the PCOAST, and/or
c) a couple of third market contacts,

...you're already "leaving your positions unwatched" -
from 4pm E to 9:30am E the next morning.

After (and before) hours trading is already operational, you see - and has been for decades. The only difference is that now, you don't have to be a broker dealer to access it.

It's coming, regardless of the complaints, ill-baked logic, or whines of those who are so suddenly interested in protecting "other peoples money." Hmmm.

I say, if you don't like it - don't trade during it.
