Eric, Sun has opened "Java Centers" in the U.S. and Canada for doing Java consultation and hands-on type work. They need to do much more of this kind of thing and try and break-out a new consulting arm; hopefully not managed by Sun Professional Services (uggh).

$software consulting will help Sun get in the door and recommend their technology directly. I see this as the most readily avaiable way Sun can agressively increase revenue/secure future revenue within an environment of growing competition.
